Class: Ladybirds Year: 2022 - 2023
Ladybirds had lots of fun thinking like scientists during STEM week and making a variety of scientific connections. We carried out lots of different experiments including 'Bridge Blunder', 'Yeast, Growth and Temperature' as well as investigating our fringerprints. Year 1/2, 4 and 5 had a design and technology competition where they had to plan, design and make a vehicle that would travel the furthest down a ramp onto different surfaces. Finally, we researched the life and work Dian Fossey did in protecting the great mountain gorillas.
