Visit from Sisters 4 Sisters – Learning About Islam

On Tuesday 30th October, we were delighted to welcome the Muslim charity Sisters 4 Sisters to our school. They spent the day working with each class, starting with Busy Bees, to help us learn more about Islam.

The children had the chance to try on traditional Muslim clothing and explore a prayer mat, learning how it is used during prayer. They also discovered how a compass helps Muslims face the right direction when they pray and were shown how prayer beads are used.

There were lots of exciting books, games, and activities for the children to enjoy throughout the day. It was a fantastic experience, and everyone learned so much in a fun and interactive way!
