Caterpillars

Caterpillars have been learning about a famous black nurse from Jamaica called Mary Seacole who lived in the 1800s. We have learned how she helped soldiers in the Crimea and was awarded medals from Queeen Victoria for her selfless actions. We discussed life events, wrote fact files, produced a timeline and compared hospitals then and now.
