Well we very nearly made it to the end of the half term without having to close a bubble. Unfortunately this afternoon we have had to close our Year 2/3 bubble due to having been informed about a positive result for COVID. I'd like to reassure everyone that school has done everything possible to keep everyone safe and healthy and that all advice and guidance received from PHE and LCC has been followed. The closure is precautionary and the children should only be tested if they develop symptoms. The remote learning unit of work for these two classes is now live online and the first three days worth of activities can be completed after the half term break.
I am so proud of how everyone has adapted to all the changes that have had to take place so far this year and your children are an absolute credit to you all.
The next half term is usually one filled with so much excitement, joy and anticpation about what the big man in red will be bringing. Unfortunately, this year it's going to be different but we have lots of plans in the pipelines to make our build up to Christmas as enjoyable as possible and we will be sharing those with you as soon as we can.
I hope you all have a relaxing half term holiday and we look forward to seeing you all in November.
Take care and stay safe
