It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ....
Plans are now well underway for our Christmas festivities in school. Staff are all busy planning how we can make it is as festive and as special as possible for all our children. Our 'Nativity' performance will take on a very different shape this year as we won't be able to have all the key stage 1 children working together and we won't be able to invite parents in to watch the performance. Don't worry though, we have something up our sleeves and we promise to make this term a special one for the children.
Next week we are having our school photo's taken. Due to the current situation we will only be able to have individual photo's taken - unless the children are in the same bubble. I know this sounds really daft when at the end of the school day the siblings then go home together but it limits the contact within school and is unfortunately something we have to do to follow government guidelines.
This week is anti-bullying week and we have asked everyone to come to school in odd socks. As always we will be celebrating diversity and uniqueness in school while promoting kindness and friendship. I'll be looking out for random acts of kindness from all the children over the week. If previous weeks are anything to go by then I'm sure I'll see lots.
Have a lovely week everyone.
Take care and stay safe,
Mrs F x
