Science Week bridges Part 2

Class: Fireflies Year: 2022 - 2023

In part 2 we built bridges across table surfaces using specific items.  Toilet paper, art straws, buff and sellotape.

We then tested these with a marble and a ball.

We found out that the surface had to be smooth for the items to roll across, they also had to be quite rigid as when they dipped the marble or ball rolled off easily. We used different speed and force during our test. We evaluated and decided how we could improve each groups bridge.
