Welcome to Scorpion's page.  

I am looking forward to an exciting programme of learning together with a real sense of forward momentum.  I have great aspirations for your children and will work closely with you to help them enjoy a successful and rewarding final year.  I am always eager to know about your child’s learning and experiences outside of school and look forward to you sharing these with me.

Homework:

The children should read at least three times a week for at least 20 minutes a time.  This should be signed in their homework diaries.

Children will be given their spelling lists at the start of the half term.  Spelling tests will take place on a Friday.  They are to take 8-10 of their weekly spellings and put them into sentences - this can be done in their yellow homework book.

Each child has a grid in their homework book with a choice of activities - they should choose 1 activity a week and complete it in their homework book or on the computer and emailed.

Homework will be checked, and sentences are to be handed in, on a Friday.  

Our class author is Ross Welford.

PE is on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.  It will be outside as often as possible so children can bring trackie bottoms and trainers if they wish.  Please ensure your child has their PE kit, including their coloured house t-shirt, in a named bag, which stays in school for each half term.
